Bob Care Photography

We are professional photographers based in the Florida keys with and wide experience in different fields of photography, with special interest in capturing the beauty of the weddings.  We live in the heart of Islamorada with our dog Tasha.   Every day is unpredictable in our lives if no traveling or shooting for pleasure or assignment, we will be out in the boat or kayaks enjoining the pristine waters in the keys.

About Bob Care

I started my own free-lance business in the 80′s working as a photojournalist for several newspapers, covering news events for the Florida Keys New Bureau and several television networks,  I began with underwater photography, having many magazine covers in the process I made of the ocean my second home.
Photography for me  it’s a pleasure and a life style, and weddings are a lot of fun, love is in the air, everyone is in a good mood, ready to party and having a good time.
When I’m at a wedding and see the bride and groom taking their vows especially when they write their own, it’s like taking my vows over again and again with my wife, so I feel the emotion, the happiness, the love, as I capture the moment knowing both of them will cherish the photographs for the rest of their lives.  I been published in different magazines, books and newspapers in the last 20 years.

Our Location in Islamorada, Florida allows us to offer services in all areas of the Florida Keys. We have also have captured weddings in the Bahamas, Cayman’s, Costa Rica and will travel to your destination.

About Mariela Care:

Animal lover, vegetarian, environmentalist, love to express her self thru images.  Erich Fromm and Desmond Morris’s fan, favorite moments: moon rise.

Mariela’s interest in photography started while a biology student in Costa Rica as she went on field trips through the rain forest of south and Central America. Mariela finished school with bachelors in biology, and received her masters in environmental education.  I met Mariela while visiting Costa Rica in 2004 on a photo assignment; the rest  is history.

With her strong interest in photography it was a match made in heaven. Now almost seven years later Mariela has mastered the art of photography with formal and informal education in the U.S developing her own style.

Since arriving in the US Mariela has been published in several magazines, newspapers, and websites for news related jobs for the Florida Keys News Bureau, plus photographing by  my  side as a team shooting weddings and events, capturing life with her own unique style.
